As a local educator and author of the LOL Land of Legends trilogy, Katy is offering a half day of author talks at schools in the greater Orlando area for the introductory price of $250, or 50 books in preorder sales. Author talks is designed as a 30-to-40-minute talk presented to consecutive groups of students, book readings, and a question-and-answer session including a discussion about how being an author starts with an idea. LOL Land of Legends is the first book of the LOL trilogy providing an exciting read with nineteen chapter illustrations and a map of this new world. The first book was published in July 2022 through Ingram Sparks, and recently released on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing in November of 2022. The book is targeted for “middle readers” in grades fourth through seventh, but can be enjoyed by any readers of chapter books.

Half day sessions are available from 8:30 to 11:30 or 12:30 to 3:30 and must be booked at least 30 days in advance. A complimentary hard cover copy will be sent for the school library at the time of booking.
